Today, I have elected to prepare you for the upcoming presidential vote. This analysis consists of the viewpoints of the top 2 candidates from the Democratic and Republican Parties, and the number one runner from the Green and Libertarian Parties’ on Google’s top 5 most-searched issues: Immigration, same-sex marriage, education, gun control and tax policies.
Our first candidate representing the Republican side is businessman and television personality, Donald Trump. He leads his party with 673 delegates, which are state-elected people who represent their state’s votes at conferences.

Cruz wishes to change America’s focus towards catching criminals with guns, rather than taking away gun rights.
Finally, he calls for the implementation of the Cruz Simple Flat Tax. Under this, there would be a 10% flat tax, and no taxes on the first $36,000 of income for a family of four. He wants a system that will render the IRS unnecessary.
This brings us to our number one Democratic nominee. Hillary Clinton has 1,606 delegates pledged to support her.
Hillary believes we need a full immigration reform with a path to equal and full citizenship. Also, she has stated that immigrants are necessary for our economy.
Mrs. Clinton has had a very unsteady opinion on same-sex marriage, but her current fluctuation has landed her in support of same-sex rights.
She wants high-quality education for every student, including pre-schoolers. This entails fewer tests and more advanced teacher training.
Clinton wishes to see gun policy reforms, and stands in support of background checks. She claims she supports the Second Amendment, but that change is needed.
On taxes, Hillary believes the wealthy pay too little in taxes and the middle class pays too much. She would plan to offer tax relief to working …show more content…

Sanders’ immigration policies. First, he wants to find a way to allow citizenship for illegal immigrants, however, he does not believe the United States should open their borders.
Moving on, we see that Bernie has openly spoken about his support for same-sex marriage and rights.
Next, he is in favor of the government funding free public universities and colleges.
The 74 year old politician also would aim to strengthen background checks on gun purchasers, and ban semi-automatic weapons. He would move to keep military grade weapons from civilians.
Finally, he would like to keep companies from shifting business overseas to escape American taxes. His other goal would involve raising taxes on the rich, but not the middle class.

Let’s move on to a couple of the less talked about parties. Jill Stein is appearing to be the most promising candidate for the Green Party. Stein ran for President in 2012, and won less than half of a percent of the vote.

Moving on to her policies, we see that she believes in providing a path to legal immigration that excludes known criminals. Also, she would like to see an end to the war on immigrants. She has stated undocumented immigrants are important to our
