Also addressed is my hypothesis of her cultural, systemic, environmental containment and aspects of my cultural identity that served as a sense of containment.

A human’s health is the most important thing for a person to help him live a nice and wonderful life. In order for him/her to preserve that ideal life a human must keep himself healthy by decreasing the risk of having any kind of disease especially the diabetes disease that most humans now a days have it. Therefore, a human’s lifestyle can decrease or illuminate the risk of him/her getting diabetes at any age.
How does one improve their health? Health can be improved through diet, sacrifice, exercise, and regular sleep. In order to improve my diet, I will be making positive behavior changes to all of these categories. For the diet aspect, I will limit the times I eat out going from 2-3 times a week to just 1. This will be one of my sacrifices on this journey. My sisters and I eat out because of our lack of groceries. It is not that we don’t buy healthy foods, it is just that we don’t by enough to last and we don’t buy groceries as often as we should. In order to make sure I stick to my limitations of fast food, I will commit myself to getting groceries once a week, on Sunday, that will last us the entirety of the week. If we have groceries, we will be less likely to want to send our money elsewhere because we would have already spent a lot on the groceries.

We only have one life to live so make the best of it right? From a health standpoint, there are many factors that can influence the way we live. There are some things that just cannot be avoided through heredity and other causes. But we can still choose to live a healthy lifestyle to better our chances. In my life in particular, I’ve discovered some poor dietary selections and my activity level can be greatly improved from the sedentary state that I exhibit now. From the Personal Health Inventory, the Family History, and my fitness plan I was able to gather information to plan for a better life and try to make to best of it.
I believe that eating healthy can teach a person discipline in life. This and exercising have been my new lifestyle for now a year because I have seen benefits of living a healthy life. I live by this motto every day. Learning how to live clean or healthy is not easy at all; first people have to do research about what foods can, and cannot be eaten. Then, it’s learning what vitamins, nutrients and properties the body needs to make the metabolism go fast. I started to eat healthy because it can add to any person 10 years of life. During the process of assimilating to my new style, I learned a lot of things that now are very helpful to me. Even though the only point of eating healthy was to reduce my body fat percentage, I also learned how to manage my time, the difference between quantity and quality, and also how to resist temptations, like saying “NO” to junk food.
