Kouzes and Posner (2017) stated leaders must challenge the process through searching an opportunities and doing experiments, taking risks, and learning from mistakes. They must challenge themselves to grow and learn. They must grab an opportunities to innovate, develop, and progress. Leaders challenge their team members to find out new approach to old problems. Experimenting and taking risk are the way to make an innovative improvements. They must grab an opportunities although there are some errors or mistakes initially along the way to success. They must celebrate small wins and take as stepping stones and learn from mistakes so that they can achieve ultimate goal making their team to do so (Kouzes and Posner (2012).

Inspirational and confident leaders are needed in health settings system (Nicol 2012). Effective leadership in health care organization is needed to provide and enhance safe and quality care to the patients (Blaney 2012). Effective leadership plays important role in the development of organizational by identifying and making provision of necessary resources and carrying out appropriate action in organizations.

Leaders in health organization must set an positive example by doing daily actions that determine their deep commitment towards their work and beliefs so people understand what is expected to do from them and how to it. Effective leader in health care setting must be able to set the clear example doing personal actions following shared values. They must be clear about their vision and always clarify all members in an organization so that they can act together to having same vision to achieve common goal (Kouzes, Posner & Biech …show more content…

Effective leader experiment and take risks regardless of small failure, error or mistake to make a change (Kouzes & Posner 2011). They must ensure that all the staffs get chance to improve and upgrade their existing knowledge, skill and improving their competencies to provide evidence based care (Nicol 2012). This ultimately lead to a greater accomplish, development and progress in a health organization through incremental steps and small wins (Careau et al. 2014). They must have feedback session with staff, patients and family members regarding organization. So that they can identify good and bad things that are hindering success of an organization and act accordingly and minimize negative things (Teixeira et al. 2012). Leader must create a culture to recognize reward and praise risk takers. So that members can be motivated towards progressive activities in an organization.
